You are your most important asset. Start investing in yourself.

It continually amazes me that people won't think twice about spending their money on fast food, alcohol, cigarettes and endless "things" but that they would never spend the same amount of money investing in their own physical and mental wellbeing.

Here is something I have learnt this year: MONEY IS ENERGY and every bit of it you spend directed at improving your health, your mind, your body and your soul will come back to you.

Every time you buy something I want you to ask yourself two questions:

1) is this something someone who loves themselves would spend their money on?

2) is this something the person I want to become would spend their money on?

If the answer to either question is no then it's time to start re-evaluating where your head's at.

If you are depressed, anxious, stressed, battling addiction or other mental health issues like I once was but you are not investing any of your money (read: ENERGY) into things that will help you grow and evolve out of that situation then how can you expect to change? Invest in a therapist. Invest in a course specifically designed by people who have overcome these issues themselves.

If you are overweight you don't need to go on a strict diet. Invest your energy into high quality, organic, clean foods. Invest in a workout program or a fitness app so you can become part of a community of people who inspire you every day to become the person you want to be.

If you want to grow spiritually invest your time and energy into meditation, invest in a course with someone who is already where you want to be.

If you want better hair and better skin invest in high quality products with cruelty free ingredients.

The list is endless...

There are a couple of other things worth noting about money: Firstly, every time you purchase something you are partaking in an energy exchange with the seller. So ask yourself, does that person or company align with the person you want to be?

And secondly (and also related to the previous point), when you purchase something that money goes to that person/company and they then use that money to invest in and buy things that align with who they are. Imagine your money as energy travelling from you to another person, then on to another person, and another and another - do you see what I am getting at?!

I cannot tell you how powerful the energy that is money actually is. And once you start directing that energy towards things and people that are going to help you grow into the person you want to become your entire life will start to change.

You are your most important asset, so start investing in yourself!
